Justin Tan (b. 2004) is a Cambodian Canadian filmmaker, born and raised in Montreal before moving to Ottawa for his secondary education. He founded Parseptchien Pictures, a production company based in Toronto. His latest film White Belt was screened at Courts d’un Soir and programmed by Kazik Radwanski for MDFF Selects. Cinema Scope Magazine described it as a “humorous Bunuelian nightmare”. Currently, he is based in Toronto, studying film at the Image Arts program, and is the recipient of the Harvey Hart Director's Award.
